1 - Sales terms

If you aren’t an E-bay user but you are interested in some jewelry that is for sale only in my E-bay boutique, contact me by e-mail and tell me the number of the piece or its reference number, and if there is no auction going on at that time, I’ll make you an offer and you can buy it immediately.

After you’ve made your choice, you must register on my website to finish your order. This can be done quickly and will allow you to:

-Keep track of your previous orders and print out an invoice.
-Create an address book which enables you to send your order to another address, so that gifts can be sent to loved ones.
-Benefit from special offers and prices available only to professionals and my best clients.

Only correctly validated orders can be honoured: You should receive an e-mail for confirmation.

These pieces of jewelry are available only as unique, one-of-a-kind creations.

The jewelry you will receive is that which was seen in the photo, so its availability is guaranteed.

Immediately after your order is validated, you can verify your account and print your invoice.

For confidentiality reasons, no bill will be included with the order.


2 - Customer Loyalty Discount

If within a period of 90 days the amount of your purchases totals the amounts shown below, you will be given the corresponding discount on your next purchases from my boutique :

1 000 Euros ==> 8 % discount
2 000 Euros ==> 15 % discount
3 000 Euros et plus ==> 20 % discount

This discount will be automatically calculated during the validation of your order, and can be accumulated with any other discounts which your account may benefit from.


3 - Classification of Pearls

The jewelry that you will receive is that which you have seen in the photo of the advertisement. Each pearl is unique, and to guarantee your satisfaction, each pearl is photographed individually using only natural light.

To give you the most reliable explanation of the colors, I use the color chart distributed by www.pacificpearlcolors.pf

Each one of my Tahitian Pearls is delivered with its Certificate of Classification and Authenticity in accordance with the Polynesian law (DELIBERATION n° 2005-42 of February 4, 2005).

This certificate guarantees the origin of my Tahitian Pearls, and specifies its characteristics.

This certificate is also in accordance with the criteria of the Gemmological Institute of America, where I graduated from the training course GEM 149-Pearls.


3 - Paying for your jewelry

There are several methods which you can choose from to pay for your purchases: Credit card (Visa & MasterCard), a check in Euros, a bank transfer to my bank account in France or by Paypal.


Credit Card

Because I have many years of experience as a professional mail order jewelry salesman, I have been granted a mail order sales contract by the Banque du Crédit Industriel et Commercial (C.I.C. Bank). This contract is the “open sesame” for internet sales, because it permits me to accept payment by all credit cards without having to go through Paypal, (which charges loan shark commissions).

Your payment will be perfectly safe and needs no middleman. You can make your payment directly to the Bank C.I.C. site, who will then inform me of the transaction.

Your banking information will not be transmitted to me, and will not be circulated on the internet without being encrypted.


Bank Transfer in Euros

I accept Bank Transfers only in Euros, made out to “Taaroa Bijoux” and to the account at the Bank C.I.C., whose details will be given to you at the end of the transaction.


Paying by Check

I accept checks only in Euros made out to “Taaroa Bijoux”, payable only from French banks.

In order to speed up the acceptance of your order, I will provide you with an address in France where you can send your payment check.

If your order is for 400 Euros or more, you can pay using two checks, and if it is for 750 Euros or more, three checks.


Paypal

Paypal is also an acceptable means of payment, once your Paypal account is verified.


4 - Delivery

From the moment I receive your payment the transaction will be concluded and the jewelry will be sent to you on the following Tuesday or Thursday, as those are the days that packages can be sent from Polynesia.

The delivery of pendants, rings, earrings, bracelets and brooches in Tahitian Pearls is by insured registered mail. Generally, you will receive the package within 8 to 12 working days.

Beauty products are sent by airmail, and it will take 15 to 20 days to receive your order.

You will be informed by e-mail about the preparation and delivery of your order.


5 - Satisfaction Guaranteed

In accordance with Article L121-16 of the Consumer’s Code, in case you are not happy with your purchase you may return your Tahitian Pearl jewelry within 14 days from the day you receive it, for an exchange or reimbursement, and you will pay only the delivery charges, which remain the responsibility of the client.

However, the return of the merchandise must be identical to that of its delivery, (by registered mail, insured for the value of the jewelry), with no deterioration of the jewelry, and in its original packaging.

Please contact me before sending the jewelry to get the return address.


6 - Protection of your personal information

In conformance with French law n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 concerning privacy and protection of personal information, the client has the right to consult, modify, rectify or delete personal information which concerns him. All information provided by the client is strictly confidential.

Concerning the information for your payment by credit card, this will not in any case be transmitted to me or anyone else by the C.I.C.


7 - Legal information concerning the company

8 - Legal jurisdiction

The sales terms presented above are governed by French law. Any contentions concerning these sales terms will be under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Papeete.
